Cancellation and Refund Policy​:

At EDMOVE SMARTER MIGRATION AND SKILLING SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED, we strive to provide the best possible service and training to our clients. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which cancellations and refunds will be processed for our language training and other related services.

1. Cancellation Policy

1.1. Cancellation by Client

  • Notification: Clients must notify EDMOVE of their intention to cancel their service enrollment via email or written communication.
  • Time Frame:
  • If the cancellation is made more than 14 days before the start of the course, a full refund will be provided.
  • If the cancellation is made after 14 days and before 7 days of the start of the course, 50% of the course fee will be refunded.
  • Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 14 working days from the date of cancellation notification.

1.2. Cancellation by EDMOVE

In the unlikely event that EDMOVE cancels a course or service, clients will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule for a future date.
Refunds will be processed within 14 working days from the date of cancellation by EDMOVE.

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds are only applicable to fees paid directly to EDMOVE for language training and related services.
No refunds will be provided for any third-party fees or charges incurred by the client.

2.2 Refund Calculation
Refunds will be calculated based on the cancellation policy stated above.
Any administrative fees or costs already incurred by EDMOVE up to the point of cancellation may be deducted from the refund amount.

2.3 Mode of Refund
Refunds will be processed through the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.
Clients will be notified of the refund details via email.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

3.1. Course Materials: Fees for any course materials already provided to the client are non-refundable.

3.2. Missed Sessions: No refunds will be provided for missed sessions or classes once the course has commenced.

3.3. Non-Compliance: Refunds will not be issued if the client is found to be in breach of EDMOVE’s policies or terms and conditions.

4. Exceptions

4.1. Medical or Emergency Situations: In exceptional cases such as medical emergencies, EDMOVE may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. Supporting documentation may be required.

 

Cancellation Policies for Individual Students:

  • 18% GST is applicable on the course fees, and is exclusive of the course fee schedule communicated to the student.
  • No refunds are offered after the class date, even if the student has been absent.
  • If students attend only part of the course or miss sessions, no refunds or credits will be given. In the case of a student failing or being absent (without a valid reason) from the final exam, no refunds or credits will be given.
  • TMC will adjust and reschedule for up to 3 classes after which learning hours will not be compensated.
  • If a student fails to appear for the final exam of a level, they will be considered to have failed and would need to repeat the level before progressing. In unforeseen circumstances such as medical emergencies, TMC may use its discretion to conduct a retest for the student.
  • If the student does not appear for the retest, their final grade will be deemed as ‘FAIL’ and they will have to repeat the level.
