Our Refund Policy

At The Migration Company (“TMC”), we are committed to delivering high-quality language training and migration-readiness programs. As our programs involve dedicated trainer allocation, customised learning plans, cohort scheduling, and administrative preparation, the following refund terms apply.

1. Demo Sessions

TMC may offer introductory or demo sessions to help prospective learners understand the program structure and suitability prior to enrolment. Participation in a demo session does not constitute registration.

2. Cancellation Before Program Commencement

Timeline

Cancellation requested more than 14 calendar days before the scheduled program start date

Cancellation requested between 7–14 calendar days before the scheduled program start date

Cancellation requested less than 7 calendar days before the scheduled program start date

Refund Eligibility

75% refund of the fees paid

50% refund of the fees paid

No refund

3. Program Commencement

Once any of the following has occurred, the program shall be deemed to have commenced:

  • the learner has attended the first scheduled live session;
  • learning resources or LMS access credentials have been issued;
  • an individual learning plan has been developed specifically for the learner.
After commencement of the program, fees paid shall be non-refundable.

4. Transfer to Another Cohort

Learners who are unable to participate in their registered batch may request a one-time transfer to another available cohort of the same program, subject to:

  • written notice being provided at least 7 calendar days before the start date; and
  • availability of seats in the requested cohort.

Approval of transfer requests shall be at TMC’s discretion

5. Cancellation by TMC

If TMC cancels a program due to operational reasons, insufficient enrolment, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, participants will be offered either:

  • a full refund; or
  • the option to transfer their enrolment to a future intake.

6. Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds shall not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • failure to attend scheduled sessions;
  • withdrawal after the commencement of the program;
  • dissatisfaction arising from personal preference after participation has begun;
  • suspension or termination of access due to violation of TMC’s Terms and Conditions;
  • inability to continue due to changes in the learner’s personal, professional, migration, visa, or employment circumstances.

7. Exceptional Circumstances

TMC may, at its sole discretion, review requests arising from serious medical emergencies or other exceptional situations. Supporting documentation may be requested. Any exception granted shall not constitute a precedent for future requests.

8. Refund Requests

To request a refund, learners must contact TMC at:

The request should include:

  • Full Name;
  • Registered Email
  • Address;
  • Program Name;
  • Date of Enrolment;
  • Proof of Payment; and
  • Reason for Cancellation.

Approved refunds shall generally be processed within 10–15 business days through the original method of payment.

9. Policy Amendments

TMC reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. The version published on the website at the time of enrolment shall govern the relevant transaction.

10. Deductible Fees

A processing fee of ₹500 or 3% of the fees paid, whichever is lower, will be deducted during refund process as those are charged by the payment platforms.

11. Delivery Failure

If TMC fails to deliver the program substantially as advertised due to reasons within its control, learners may request an appropriate remedy, including a refund, transfer, or alternative arrangement, subject to review.
